MID-OHIO ENERGY CREWS
Construction Crew
The Construction Crew completed installation of equipment as part of the co-op's work plan.
Service Crew
The Service Crew focused on service upgrades, new service installations, and completing service orders across the system.
Maintenance Crew
Recent outages have been addressed with causes ranging from small animals, lightning, power supply, trees & wind.
Contracted Crews
Frankart Power Line Services is working on the State Route 746 line rebuild project, with completion anticipated in late-September.
Vaughn Industries is working on the Sonnanstine Housing Development, where work will include reconductoring, transformer upgrades, service upgrades, and pole replacements, the project is expected to take several months to complete.
POLE INSPECTIONS
Osmose is onsite performing pole inspections and testing in the Edison, Ridgedale, and Ada substation areas. More about pole testing
TREE TRIMMING
Oberlander's Tree Services trimming crews are contracted to perform right-of-way management for Mid-Ohio Energy. Current trimming efforts are taking place in the area of Rengert substation (SE of Marion, around Cardington/Waldo).
