MID-OHIO ENERGY CREWS
Construction Crew
The Construction Crew is scheduled to begin the County Road 90-line rebuilding project west of the North Kenton Substation in mid-to-late March.
Service Crew
The Service Crew focused on service upgrades, new service installations, and completing service orders across the system.
Maintenance Crew
Crews completed replacement of rejected poles in the Kenton district and have three remaining poles in the Marion District. These poles are located off-road and will be replaced once ground conditions allow for access.
Line crews are finalizing line patrol work in the Ada and Meeker areas, along with OCR changeouts in North Kenton, Ada, Meeker, and Ridgedale.
POLE INSPECTIONS
Frankart Power Line Services is expected to begin a two-mile pole replacement project in the Waynesfield-area along Boundary and Fairmount Roads in April. This work is being completed in preparation for joint-use fiber attachments as part of the Federal Broadband Equity, Access, and Deployment (BEAD) Program.
TREE TRIMMING
Oberlander's Tree Services trimming crews are contracted to perform right-of-way management for Mid-Ohio Energy. Current trimming efforts are taking place in the area of Route 31 Substation (areas south of Kenton / north of Mt. Victory). Permitting efforts are underway in the Wildcreek Substation area (areas around Larue).
