With a desire to put her creativity to use to help small businesses, owner Kalynn Meade started Hometown in January of 2024.
"I have always been passionate about small business. I grew up in my dad and grandpa’s barber shop, so I understand the importance of local business, and the pride these businesses bring to a community," says Meade.
She runs her operations out of her family's home, which is served by Mid-Ohio Energy. "My equipment uses a lot of electricity, and I often must run multiple machines at once. I am happy to say that Mid-Ohio Energy has never faulted when I needed them most!"
"I have always been a creative person and enjoy working with my hands. Owning a small business making logo gear and helping other small businesses at the same time mixes the best of both worlds! I work to create the lowest prices possible for my apparel to help others show off their brand in a cost effective way."
